Fantasy books that pretend they are real in real life but has been obscured somehow?

Fantasy books that pretend or say in the book that everything that happens in the book actually happened like the magical elements and stuff is real but somehow it's been obscured from the world? I know Percy Jackson does this so I would like to find something similar
