Every book has a dashing, charming, God sent looking perfection carved from stone. I want a normal guy. Yes like Linus Baker in House in the Cerulean Sea. That’s the only normal representation from a MMC that I’ve read. Could be any genre, could be about anything. Thank you.
Bonus points if he has a mental illness like depression and how he deals with it.

Leaving Cheyenne. The characters live quite a extremely simple life. Almost no really interesting things occur. Just two guys living a chill life.
I also hate the widowed former navy seal cia operative university professor main character. One book I enjoyed was Caught Stealing. There is a recent movie too but I haven’t seen it.
