I’d like to read recent memoir that is not by a famous person or the child of one. Whenever I talk to people at parties, bars, or other social situations, I love hearing well-told stories by ordinary people. Stories like the mom whose daughters went crazy for the same “bad boy.” The brother who taught his siblings to do laundry while both parents worked two jobs. The mechanic who rebuilt a classic car piece by piece. People like you and me, doing interesting things. Is there anything like that out there, preferably published within the last ten years?
