I used to LOVE reading when I was younger but it slipped away over time mainly thanks to social media. Maybe we’ve all been there? I haven’t gotten into reading since middle school (around 13 years old) I’ve read a couple Colleen Hoover books but I just can’t seem to get into them except Verity that one was alright. I love mystery novels, some light romance maybe, just not vampires/dragons etc I was never into that sort of thing. If anyone could send me in the right direction I’d really appreciate it🙂

A lot of books made me want to be a reader, but one book that made me stay a reader was the Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. It’s so beautiful and mesmerizing, and I think Taylor Jenkins Reid’s just a fantastic author. (Also if you read this and like it I’d suggest picking up her other books, atmosphere, Carrie Soto is back, daisy jones and the six, but for not start with the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo) it sometimes feels like a mystery.

Just finished Dead Med, Do you remember?, Brain damage, and the surrogate mother! They all are so good! All mystery books!

    3. You Are Here by David Nicholls is a very easy and low stress read. Lot of descriptions of nature but still a good plot and good characters.

I also really loved Bellweather Rhapsody by Kate Racculia. It’s a mystery but has a lot of other stuff going on as well, I’m always surprised I don’t see it being recommended more.

God of the Woods by Liz Moore got a lot of hype last year and I think it was well deserved. I really enjoyed it despite feeling like it was ultimately a little longer than it needed to be. I thought the ending was quite good and enjoyed reading it – moves pretty quickly so don’t let the length deter you.
