Hello, my son has a school assignment to do an oral report on a biography or autobiography of a historically significant figure. Memoirs are specifically called out as not being allowed.
He is a typical 11 year old boy, sports, military history, hunting type interests.
There are a couple Einstein biographies he is is looking at.
Thought I would ask the hice mind for any great or stand out biographies that are age appropriate.
Thanks!

*Surely You’re Joking, Mr. Feynman* by Richard Feynman
Can he read the young people’s adaptation of Trevor Noah’s Born a Crime? There’s also adaptations of Unbroken and The Boys in the Boat. The Rise and Fall of Charles Lindbergh is a good one, written for teens.
