New Genres?

hi everyone! i want to get back into reading (especially before bed, it knocks me out), and i’m maybe thinking of getting into some other genres? my normal genre is horror (tender is the flesh, brother, you get the idea), and i normally like books that i may be alone, but i don’t FEEL alone, and i have to keep looking around.
i’m not into romance or anything corny.
i like sci-fi, and black mirror type things!
maybe some thriller recs? rather than horror or gore? i haven’t really gotten into any thrillers either!
