Work’s been draining lately, and I need a book to switch off and recharge in the evenings. Want something light but heartfelt-maybe adventure, a cozy mystery, or hopeful sci-fi? Not into super dark plots or heavy philosophy. What books helped you relax after a tough day? Got any that really hooked you?

All heart as they say.

Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir may seems overrated but it’s one of my personal favorite. Sci-fi, good suspense, somewhat heart-felt at some part of the book. The book is around 600 pages, I’ve read through the entire thing in 2 days.
For hopeful sci-fi I recommend:
The Monk & Robot duology by Becky Chambers – first one is A Psalm for the Wild Built
In The Lives of Puppets by T J Klune
For cozy mystery:
The Thursday Murder Club series by Richard Osman
Any Agatha Christie
I’d also recommend Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson for a fun, low stress adventure-fantasy.
