so i’m in this weird phase where i’m obsessed with characters who slowly lose control but somehow make it make sense. like in breaking bad where every decision gets darker but you still get it. or you by caroline kepnes where being inside that guy’s head is so wrong but weirdly addictive.
i want that same vibe in a book. dark, psychological, lots of inner monologue. i don’t care if the character is “good,” i just want to see the world through their messed up logic.
basically something that makes me question why i’m rooting for them.
