My mom LOVES nature. She is home 24/7 due to health issues, and she sits at the dining table and watches her yard all day. She is a wonderful photographer and takes photos of all the critters. She especially loves her birds (hummingbirds above all) and critters like opossums. I really want to find a gift for her, and I think a good book could be what she wants. Nothing too sad, she gets emotional easy. If y’all have recs in French, that’d be awesome, as that’s her first language. I just want to find her a beautifully written book about nature, critters, birds, and the like. Likely non-fiction, but some light fiction could be good, too!
