I'm reading "Memoirs found in a bathtub" and I like it a lot, I love the feeling of paranoia and the main character slowly losing his mind without being able to accomplish anything, but I missing a bit more of that "Oh, that certificate is expired, you'll have to go to the administrative office" and the administrative office going "We can't do anything about that, we now we did it last week but now they do it somewhere else. Try calling this number, bring this other paper with you" so on and so fort.

Fiction or not is alright, ideally not too removed from reality or if is near future is good. I was thinking maybe something in the same vain as the game "paper please" where the laws are constantly changing. Or something as the movie "Brazil" (1985) where a misprint letter causes a disaster that the character has to solve navigating through the wacky laws.

I don't know. I just think it would be great to read about someone going completely nuts trying to renew his car insurance, or from the perspective of a lawyer or inspector it would be awesome too. I also accept short stories.

I tried to search for this and didn't find the book that hit the spot (considering that I only read the synopsis). A lot of people recommended Kafka's "The trial" but I fear that might way too gloomy, I'll give it a try after this one tho.
