If you're a sapphic woman looking everywhere for new books, movies and shows to consume that also have some kind of WLW representation, you probably found yourself reading the worst books known to mankind only because it had scraps of gay rep written on it ( or because it was actually about WLW women but the writing was awful ). I just finished reading Bury our bones in the midnight soil, and I enjoyed myself a lot, even though it wasn't a cute love story, I really liked all the characters and the dark relationships they had with eachother.
I'm looking for new WLW books that are good, I love fantasy, horror, or even "regular" modern love stories, I'm open for anything really as long as it's GOOD

Our Wives Under the Sea by Julia Armfield is about a WLW marriage. I wouldn’t consider it a romance, but it otherwise fits.
Check out Marissa (Mac) Crane’s books. Their first is a dystopian wlw heartbreak of a book. Their second is a coming of age story about high school basketball players (heavy on the basketball, but I promise it makes sense and pays off). I think Crane is a beautiful writer and both books really nail the gut-wrenching thing for me.
In before five other people recommend This is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone!
