I am 19M, getting back into reading for the first time in YEARS, but I read all of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Heroes of Olympus, and the newer senior year stories. I am in search of books to read; anything, legitimately ANYTHING, will be of interest to me. I am looking into reading The Hobbit (classic, yes), but I love fantasy stories (also looking into the Covenant of Steel trilogy – I have read the GoT books), and I love just fun, captivating stories. Thank you in advance for the stories suggested to me. I will look into all of them!

Try Robert Asprin.
Three by John Scalzi:
**The Kaiju Preservation Society** is ‘a common man put into uncommon circumstances’ and adventuresome.
**Redshirts** is a satire of space-opera from the point-of-view of ‘expendable’ crew.
**Starter Villain** is the most entertaining book I’ve read recently. It’s a spoof of the early James Bond movies. A substitute teacher inherits his estranged uncle’s villainy which comes complete with a secret volcanic lair.
Neal Schusterman’s -*Unwind* series and*Scythe* series. They are more dystopian but action packed and very interesting.
Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman is a fun one, recommended on here often. Reads like an adventure video game, funny banter.
