Hey everyone,
Fall always makes me feel nostalgic and gets me in the mood for something emotional and I’m really craving a good YA or coming-of-age book.
My all time favorites are:
Before I Fall, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The fault in out stars and five feet apart.
Any recommendations for books with similar vibes, themes, or emotional impact?!l

Ninth House, The Wayward Children series (#2 is especially good), Starling House, A Psalm for the Wild-Built, and The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue are all good choices.
Have you read John Green’s other books? – loved Looking for Alaska, and really enjoyed Turtles All the Way Down
Eleanor & Park – Rainbow Rowell
Books by Ocean Vuong (queer coming of age)
Silver Linings Playbook (the people are young adults, but this has a similar vibe to Perks of Being a Wallflower)
Milkman – Anna Burns – this is a bit more of a difficult read as it’s written in a very unique style and no one has real names, they are called things like Maybe-Boyfriend and Third-Brother-in-Law but its really good and well worth it
I Capture the Castle – Dodie Smith – older one but really good coming of age novel
I finished The Age of Miracles recently and really enjoyed it.
YA to the backdrop of Earth’s orbit changing and a tear in the magnetic field.
You could call Girl With a Pearl Earring a coming of age story. It is emotional and beautifully written.
