Are there any books that feel like the band Soul Coughing?

I've started reading a lot more recently, so I figured I'd ask Reddit if there are any books that feel like my favorite band? I love Soul Coughing and it's been my favorite band for a few months now and I'm excited to see what people have in mind for me to read!! ^^
