I’m almost done with Petals on the Wind (book 2 in the Dollanganger series), and I’m feeling torn. I know V.C. Andrews passed away before books 3 and 4 were finished, and that Andrew Neiderman took over as the ghostwriter.
I’m neurodivergent, so naturally I’ve gone down every rabbit hole about the series already.. plus I watched the pretty awful Lifetime adaptations when they first aired. But honestly, I’m kind of frustrated with how the story ends. I really wanted Chris and Cathy to get some kind of happy ending.
For those who’ve read the whole series.. is it worth continuing with If There Be Thorns and Seeds of Yesterday, or should I call it quits after POTW and jump into My Sweet Audrina instead?
