I’m glad you liked this book, this is certainly up there with my favourites, I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did!
For something very similar, ‘Daisy Jones & The Six’ and ‘Malibu Rising’ by the same author are great. Personally, I didn’t find her latest novel, ‘Atmosphere’ to be that good. Compared to her other works, it felt a bit more average.
‘The Paris Wife’ by Paula McLain – fictional story of Hemingway’s first wife and their time in jazzy Paris
‘Rules of Civility’ by Amor Towles – 1930s New York society
‘Beautiful Ruins’ by Jess Walter – intertwines modern Hollywood with 1960s Italy
‘The Thirteenth Tale’ by Diane Setterfield – an author finally tells her life story to a young biographer.
‘The Last Mrs Parrish’ by Liv Constantine – psychological thriller with wealth a key part.
