Looking for horror novels that involve cults or cult themes. Some movies/shows I’m thinking of are Midnight Mass, The Ritual, The Heretics (2017), Apostle, Hereditary, etc.
I read The Creeper by AM Shine last year and enjoyed it but felt like it was missing something.
More generally, I’m interested any horror novels that explore the darker side of religion.
