I am currently struggling with big emotions and whenever I feel like this, I like to turn to art to help feel like I am, not alone but rather, part of a broader collective of humanity with shared experiences.
I saw a TikTok that said the following:
"Sometimes, i think about how many past versions of myself ive grown out of without realizing i see old photos and remember the thoughts and dreams once held onto it's strange how you can be with yourself everyday and still not notice you're changing until you look bàck and see how far you've come it's truly fascinating how many diffèrent lives you've already lived in the same body."
and it stirred… feelings in me… I am looking for literature that explores similar themes. I am a fan of annie ernaux as I feel like she talks abt similar ideas.
Recs appreciated!
