So, I’ve just bought myself a Kindle for an upcoming 8-day resort holiday — I’m 35 and fully planning to spend most of it horizontal by the pool with a drink in one hand and my Kindle in the other.
I’m a fairly novice reader and have mostly stuck to non-fiction in the past, but this trip I really want to get into fiction. I enjoy watching documentaries, horror and crime, and I’ve never read romance or fantasy — open to giving them a try if you think there’s a good entry-level read!
Ideally looking for shorter books that are total page-turners — something that’ll completely suck me in and make me forget what day it is and give me a boost of ‘reading to completion’ gratification.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

For a really compelling and disturbing read with an unhinged FMC try Boy Parts by Eliza Clark. Sounds up your alley!
