Hello! I’m putting together a reading box as a Christmas present for a friend, and I want to include a book that’s genuinely hilarious, something that had you actually crying with laughter or grinning like an idiot!
So, what’s the funniest book you’ve ever read?
It can be fiction or non-fiction, a memoir, satire, or anything else ? As long as it’s laugh-out-loud funny.
I would love to hear what made you lose it, and a quick note on why it cracked you up if you’ve got time.

I hope they serve beer in hell
I remember laughing at the stories in James Herriot’s All Creatures Great and Small. The characters and plot is presented in a matter-of-fact way with a hint of humor underneath.
