I'm looking for a book that goes through the entire history of Earth thus far in fairly small increments (…you know, by geologic time standards) describing what we know about where the landmasses were, what the atmosphere/climate/sea was like, and what weird sorts of critters lived there. More detail is better; I'm hoping to get a real chonker of a book.
