It doesn't matter what genre, but I'm on the hunt for YA books with NO swearing or explicit sex scenes. Mature themes and serious topics are fine, I'm just trying to avoid anything gratuitously gorey or extreme. If it was published in the last 5 years, that would also be a major bonus.
I've done a fair bit of research and continuously find suggested books are usually middle grade instead of true young adult, or they're classics published decades ago. Of course those have their place, but they're not what I'm looking for. Any suggestions would be most appreciated!!

The Giver is tops and it will always be relevant
The Inkheart trilogy is great although there may be some mild language- “damn” and “hell” might appear but no sex
