Was just reading a review of the new book of short stories by Harper Lee and saw this letter she sent Oprah Winfrey back in 2006. It's beautiful and I would encourage anyone who's feeling lacklustre or has forgotten their love of books to read it. As she puts it, "Can you imagine curling up in bed t read a computer?"

Does Oprah really love books? It’s my opinion that she loves money from publishers. And my opinion that she loves being a ‘tastemaker’ and that people think she loves books.
I don’t recall Oprah loving books until a certain point in her fame and influence…
