So I don't know how best to describe what I am exactly after, but here goes. I am looking for any kind of fiction of any genre that has a main character who is a shot caller like establishment owner in the middle of a dark situation. Much like the HBO series deadwood, or mayor of Kings town. I want a story about a clever leader out smarting his opponents. More mind games then anything. Thanks for your time
