Just finished Ready Player 1. I found it to be an exciting adventure quest story that is almost perfectly paced. It has that combination of speed and immersion that I would love to read in another book.
I've tried to read Armada and it was terrible. I've heard bad feedback about Ready Player 2.
I've read Red Rising and Will of the Many.
Do you have any book recs for an exciting adventure story?

Maybe try Enders game?
Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir isn’t exactly breakneck pacing, but it’s definitely one of the most engaging sci-fi books of the past few years.
Dungeon Crawler Carl throws you in and moves non-stop.
The Murderbot Diaries are really engaging, even though the main character is explicitly trying to do as little as possible.
The Vorkosigan Saga has a ton of solid adventure books in it. I’d probably recommend starting with The Warrior’s Apprentice or The Vor Game if you want to focus on the adventure parts, though Barrayar may be the best entry point to the series as a whole.
