just had to share this I recently went to a book fair and managed to buy five brand new novels for only $2.50 total ($0.50 each!). Each one has around 400–700 pages, so it honestly feels like an incredible deal. They’re all in perfect condition too, which makes it even better. This is definitely the best deal I’ve ever gotten on new books. Now I’m curious what’s the best deal you’ve ever scored when buying new books? (Free books or secondhand ones don’t count) I've started to believe, thanks to this subreddit, that if you look in the right places books can actually be super cheap. I'm realizing there are so many hidden gems out there. (book fairs, clearance sale, etc.)

me calculating how many lifetimes i’ll need to finish the books i already own while still buying more because they’re on sale 😅 book addiction is real.
I haven’t gotten any good deals with new books, but I’ve gotten lucky with used books, getting some great books for free. To me it doesn’t matter because as long as the book is well kept and readable, that’s good enough for me.
