hello everyone. i finally got out of my reading stump after re-reading frankenstein for the umpteenth time. i would love recommendations similar to it, however, i should mention that whenever i’ve tried to find similar books, they’re usually suggested from the ‘immoral scientist who plays God’ angle, which is not what makes frankenstein one of my favorite novels. to say the least, i love how victor (mc) feels tortured by his own creation, and perpetually victimizes himself. the tone is so miserable, and i find it funny for the exact same aforementioned reasons.
