Book about living for months with nearly no sunlight in the polar regions

I am travelling to northern Norway in December and I am courious about the experience of living without sunlight for a good part of the year.

Are there any books where this topic comes up? Either northern or southern polar region would be interesting (eg people living there all their life but also researchers on an expedition on in a station).
