Books that tells the stories of history.

I love reading stories that happened. I recently finished sapiens. I want to read of tales of history. It could be anything but i would say it has to be a good read though (optional but still). Anything works a big empire's story, or napoleon, or history of a country how it rise up and then fell down etc.
