So i usually only read fantasy/fantasy romance.
I volunteer at a library, and we got a copy of "Lost and Lassoed" the third book in the rebel blue series. It caught my attention because i have horses and i must say I'm hooked.
It is fun, it isn't cliche, it doesn't have the tropes i hate in romance where people don't act like people. It has some drama, and it makes sense in the context of the story, and i absolutely enjoyed that. Romance can be good, without downplaying the female counterpart and just using her as a plot point.
So I'm looking for Similar romance books. It takes two to tango, so i want something like that. A good back and forth between the characters. It can have drama, i don't mind that, as long as it actually makes sense and it isn't just a dumb plot point to create action.
I don't mind mafia romance as well, as long as it won't contain SA, I'm essentially just looking for something fun, catching, and sweet, and even sexy.
I don't anything about the genre, so I'm asking here for recs. Thank you!
