Hi!! So I've been reading for most of my life, but I've only really read fiction before. I'm currently reading Evelyn Hugo and I honestly love the parts that are supposed to be her autobiography, and it made me want to branch out into non-fiction.
Any recommendations are welcome, no matter what genre it is. I do love crime/thrillers but I don't know if I would like true crime in written formats since I tend to listen to podcasts/watch documentaries. Stuff that focuses on mental health would be nice! Any drama filled biographies would also be fun 👀
The only thing I want to avoid is historical books, the only non-fiction I've ever tried to read was a book about some old rich family filled with scandals but to be honest it was so boring I couldn't get past the first few chapters..

Hands down, among the most important I’ve ever read is Andrew Solomon’s NOONDAY DEMON. More than a book, it’s a meticulously-composed tome.
Imo, that thing should be required reading for anyone going into the field. To boot, his writing style is remarkably readable. You’ll see. 🙂
