I've recently gotten into reading a different kind of genre after years of reading romance. Don't get me wrong, I like to read japanese comics of the same kind but it hits different when read with just a full page of words. I'm sure it's horror/psychological with mystery.
The two books I've read is "Strange Houses" and "Strange Pictures" by Uketsu. It's a fantastic read and had me at the edge of my seat. I truly loved the mystery just because of it's floor plan, a story told all because a floor plan doesn't make sense. I've been wanting to find books of the same kind of feel, not just architecture horror but the same kind of vibe.
Other comics I've read that's the same vibe is the works of Nakayama Masaki (PTSD Radio, Seeds of Anxiety), "Tonari no Jii-san" (The Old Man Next Door) by Koike Nokuto, Detective Conan, and the works of Junji Ito (Uzumaki, Tomie).
