So as the title says, I haven’t read a book from start to finish in a number of years, apart from books I had to read for school etc.

I’ve decided it’ll be nice to get away from phone screens, laptops etc and read a few books as a well to re focus my brain.

I’m not too picky on the genre of books, when I used to read books it was action books but it’s been years since then so I’m not sure if that would still be my primary interest so I’m open to anything!

    Thank you!

    1. Dungeon Crawler Carl would be a great suggestion. It’s very fun and readable. It sounds a bit weird, but trust me, it’s a page turner and a very fun read. Perfect for your use case.

    2. Try the Jack Reacher books. They’re more investigative than action, but they’re all really well-written and interesting, and none of them have to be read in any particular order. The three best are set when Reacher was still an MP in the Army – “Night School”, “The Enemy”, and “The Affair”.

Terry Hayes’ “I Am Pilgrim” is a great agent/action read, and hugely popular.

Gregg Hurwitz’ Orphan X series is more action-oriented than the Reacher books.

Meg Gardiner’s UNSUB series is really good if you like serial killer investigations.

    3. Were you interested in movies? If yes, try books on which the relevant movie has been based on. Good luck!

The Boys of Tommen Series by Chloe Walsh is a favorite of mine. It’s a sports romance series, but not like cheesy romance. There are six books in total so far
