So a few of my favourite horror medias not just books are video games like Resident Evil and The Last Of Us obviously. Scratches and Asylum if anyone knows that and from the good Mike Flannigan Midnight Mass and Haunting of Bly Manor, very fitting to that is a new book I just read, Hazelthorn, also love Dracula and Frankenstein and House of Leaves and for a movie, Crimson Peak. Big fan of vampires, of just the atmosphere of there's something sinister going on and it doesn't even have to be that fucked up or like a monster I just have to feel something. One book I looked at recently was The Resurrectionist which is apparently half a fictional biography and half a fictional "textbook" about the guys weird creations between humans and animals which i think sounds pretty cool and well I said I like Frankenstein but rn i am reading Our Hideous Progeny (Frankenstein kinds retelling) and really love it, I study chemical engineering so if there's actually sciency stuff in a book it's amazing for me so yea….I know it's a bit confusing but I'm not expecting THE perfect recommendation
