I read Harry Potter in 4th grade and then didn’t really ever read another book again. I’m kidding but not really.
Now I drive 15-20 hours a week for my job and have found audiobooks are the best way to pass time.
Thus far I’ve read and loved The Power of The Dog trilogy by Don Winslow, Firestarter by Stephen King and then a few of the Taylor Jenkins Reid books (loved Carrie Soto and 7 husbands). I’ve picked up some here and there but I feel like I am extremely picky and end up going back to Podcasts or Music for my 5+ hour drives.
When it just comes to consuming media in general I am typically a sucker for organized crime, and have found Don Winslow is pretty good for that. But I don’t strictly stick to that.
Favorite movies and TV Shows: Sopranos, Goodfellas, Ozark, The Boys, Stranger Things, Dazed and Confused, Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Really like the one season of Fallout and The Last of Us. Also loved True Detective.
Any recommendations for someone that has fairly niche genres they are looking for? Tagged it as historical fiction because I do love something set in a different time period.
