I am gonna be the first person to say that if it sounds interesting, read it! What other people like is never going to be exactly what you like. That’s part of the fun of books.
Since that’s not what it asked… Looks like I gave it 3 out of 5 stars, but the fact that I remember almost nothing about the plot only a year and a half later doesn’t bode well.
