I don't really like when books about suicide end up sounding like a hotline trying to talk people out of it. I prefer books that are willing to earnestly engage with the idea of suicide without immediately condemning it. I feel more understood when reading books like that. I like Mishima's Life for Sale, for example. I want to find more books like that. I liked Demons by Dostoevsky, too; even though it wasn't all about suicide, I found the things it did have to say engaging. So something like that interests me as well.

It’s a song, not a book, but if you haven’t already you should listen to Suicide by Ren [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3JNtfi4Vb0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3JNtfi4Vb0)
The Virgin Suicides
This is not a test
