I’m allergic to mushrooms; my kid just got ringworm. I just moved out of a house with mold. I HATE fungus.

I (hope) imagine there is a scientific book that would make me appreciate fungus; however, most books on mycology are aimed at the fungi-lover demographic.

As previously stated I HATE Fungi but I think I could challenge that with a good academic or evolutionary text on the importance.

    Any thoughts?

    1. The Mushroom at the End of the World by Anna Tsing is great! Pretty critical book on post-capitalism but really interesting

Finding the Mother Tree has an excellent section on mycelium. The whole book was wonderful actually

    3. Entangled Life, by Merlin Sheldrake. It’s very readable and wide-ranging on the topic of fungi and mushrooms

**The Fungus** by *Harry Adam Knight*. You’ll realise it could get so much worse.
