He is not an avid reader and struggles to read, but he loved the D&D: Dungeon Club books. I want to encourage more reading, and graphic novels seem to be the best right now. He likes D&D style fantasy books with complicated storylines, and friendship. I asked his mom whether a graphic novel of The Hobbit might be welcome, but she thinks it doesn't have enough friendship. He's a very sweet kid who doesn't like people being mean to each other. (Honestly, same.) I don't read graphic novels at all, so I'm totally at sea. Anyone got any ideas?
