I lost my brother to gun violence completely unexpectedly this year, and I haven't really been able to process it. It's complicated because we weren't very close, so I've just been pretending it didn't happen, but I know I need to actually acknowledge this at some point. I have "Healing the Adult Sibling's Grieving Heart," but it's not really what I need right now.
Fiction or nonfiction is fine, but maybe something that talks about delayed grief, or losing someone suddenly, or someone purposefully ignoring their own grief, anything so I can feel a little more seen in this or whatever book you think would help would be appreciated.

I got one, and it’s one of my favorite books of all time. A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness.
