Suggest a fiction / non-fiction pairing that works particularly well

My recommendation is The Grapes of Wrath (John Steinbeck novel) paired with The Worst Hard Time (Timothy Egan nonfiction about the 1930’s Dust Bowl). They complimented each other very well!
