Looking for recommendations on truly terrifying paranormal horror. My favorites are like, people move into a house and find out it’s haunted and there’s history to it. I’m just looking for objectively scary, level – keep me up at night.
(NO Josh Malerman, Jason Rekulak or Riley Sager 🙅🏻♀️🙅🏻♀️🙅🏻♀️ already read The Reformatory, The Woman in Black, a lot of Stephen King which were good but not the level of spooky I’m looking for)

How about Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury. It’s psychological and atmospheric. Good for fall too.

How to Sell A Haunted House was TOO paranormal for me, but I enjoyed the first 1/4 before I DNF, lol.
Also, Mister Magic was not my usual taste, but also pretty good.
