I used to be a very into reading, so into it that when I was in school I'd borrow a book a day, finish reading it by that night and then get another one the next day(the librarian sincerely doubted that I was actually reading the books).
However it feels like recently I just can't finish a book if my life depended on it. I'm tempted to blame a worsening attention span as the cause but I read long texts(close to 40 pages a day) for my Masters.
As for what kind of books I read…well a little bit of everything I'd say! Last book I actually finished reading was Misery by Stephen King, the one before that was Project Hail Mary.
Some books that I just keep re-reading again and again are "Shoe Dog" by Phil Knight and "Ghost in the wires" by Kevin Mitnick(it's not that I'm some sort of memoir buff, I just happened to really like these two. I was also very into Fantasy at one point, LOTR and Harry Potter(read the books more times than I can remember). The only thing that I'd add is that I doubt if I'll be able to digest anything sophisticated or high-brow(no Sound and the Fury—sorry).
