Just watched the Halloween DnD special from Legends of Avantris and loved the song they played at beginning of the video. It was like a woman warning you from the creatures in the woods/dark, very eerie. I'm looking for books with similar vibes and female protagonists.
I've already read Where the Dark stands still by AB Poranek and A Dark and Drowning Tide by Allison Saft which I liked for the folklore part but they weren't spooky enough. Thank you for any recommendations
