Can someone please recommend me a book on American Presidents? I’ve been searching for one that ideally starts with Washington and summarizes all of the presidencies: major policies enacted, also major events during the presidency, etc. it doesn’t have to go super in depth on anyone in particular, I’m just looking to expand my general knowledge.
A cursory google search didn’t really turn up what I was looking for. Thanks!

I dislike Bill OReilly but last year he released Confronting the Presidents and he goes through every single one.
David Rubenstein has a few good books about historians who wrote about the presidents. The Highest Calling, and The American Story are really good.
I liked “Washington: A Life,” by Ron Chernow.
“Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln,” by Doris Kearns Goodwin, is one of my favorite books of all time.
