Very specific book recommendations?

Hi, everyone.

I wanted to ask for any recommendations on a very specific type of book. A couple of years ago, I read Convenience Store Woman by Sakaya Murata, and I loved it. I'm really interested in these type of characters that don't seem to fit societal standards and that are ace-coded.

I just want books that deal with those topics and just that don't involve romance whatsoever. There will be a book fair at a nearby city in a couple of days, and I want to go with a list in mind.

I noticed that other Asian authors' books seem to fit this description. For example, Google recommended Breasts and Eggs by Mieko Kawakami.

What similar books should I check out?
