Which Keri Lake book should I read next? Fellow dark romance lovers, help me choose

Hi all,

I’m on a serious Keri Lake kick right now and need help deciding what to read next. I’ve devoured Nocticadia and Master of Salt & Bones, both absolutely consumed me in the best way.

Anathema is sitting high on my TBR, and I’m super intrigued, but I’ve heard book two ends on a cliffhanger and the third isn’t out yet… so I’m debating whether to wait.

In the meantime, I’m looking for something else of hers to sink into. I love:
– Morally grey or full-on black MMCs with touch her and die energy
– slow burn
– Dark, gothic, or eerie atmosphere, any genre works as long as it’s immersive
– Damaged, complex characters with emotional depth
– Slow burn tension that builds, but when it finally snaps… it’s epic (doesn’t need to be overboard, just earned)
– Beautiful, gritty writing (which Keri always nails)

If you’ve read more of her books, which one gave you that same dark, addictive pull as Nocticadia or Master of Salt & Bones?

Would love to hear your thoughts and what order you’d recommend tackling her books in!
