Guys give me book suggestions
I wanna educate myself, but I don't want to be bored to death
I quite enjoy 2000, early 2010 type books, yk the vibe and all of a frazzled young english women (not impartial; could be any race), I like biographies as well of people who've lived quite colorful lives, I enjoy Elif Shafak and Khaled Hosseini, but yeah, I wanna try something different, so knock ur socks off in the comments please! I also really loved Second Chance by Jane Green, and anything related to history for the educational bit —I loved The Earth is Singing and Anne Frank's Diary reinditions.

When We Cease to Understand the World & The Nickel Boys
Sarra Manning has written some great 2000-2010s books about frazzled English gals. my fave is Unsticky. Also Mhairi Macfarlane’s Don’t You Forget About Me for the Scots and The Rachel Incident by Caroline O’Donoghue to represent the Irish. Also think you might enjoy Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi, The Girl with the Louding Voice by Abi Dare and A Woman Is No Man by Etaf Rum!
Poison wood bible and demon copperhead were good
The Master & Margarita is one of my all time favs
Zuleikha is an amazing book following a woman through her life and very true to history in the way things played out after the revolution.
I love Erik Larsen. His books read like fiction but they are 100% non-fiction and about various interesting topics. #ad https://amzn.to/43644VV
