I love graphic memoirs (graphic novels that are memoirs, not memoirs with graphic content), I think graphic novels are the perfect medium for memoirs, and I want to read more. What are graphic memoirs you recommend?
Graphic memoirs I've already read (or currently am reading in the case of the first in the list)
- The Best We Could Do – Thi Bui
- Maus – Art Spiegelman
- Persepolis – Marjane Satrapi
- Fun Home – Alison Bechdel
- Blankets – Craig Thompson
- They Called Us Enemy – George Takei (alongside Justin Eisinger and Steven Scott, but about George Takei's life)
- Ducks: Two Years in the Oil Sands – Kate Beaton
