Curious how the most experienced readers read – i recently picked up reading for fun and started with “thinking fast and slow” by Daniel Kahneman – I find myself re reading almost every line (I’m also very ocd about it, thinking I’ll miss crucial details) – I feel insecure because some sentences don’t make sense or I would have to try really hard. I feel insecure about it because I wonder if experienced readers understand every single sentence and I’m just behind. I generally understand the main points and get the crucial ideas, but I want to be able to understand every sentence, no matter how dense.
